High above the sleepy world, a little star named Twinkle shone her brightest. One night, she saw a tiny, shimmering tear float by. It was a little moonbeam, lost and far from home. "Why are you so sad? " Twinkle asked softly.
The moonbeam whispered, "I was dancing and spun too far away from the moon. Now I am lost in the big, dark sky. " Twinkle smiled warmly. "Don't worry," she said. "I will guide you. Follow my light! "
Twinkle shone her light like a beacon, creating a sparkling path across the sky. The little moonbeam followed the trail, all the way back to the big, smiling face of the moon. The moonbeam snuggled in, safe and sound, and whispered a thank you to its new friend, the kindest star in the sky.
